CRI signs strategic cooperation agreements with Guangdong Hydro Power and Jiangsu Dafu. The partnership aims to to develop the world's first hydrogen-methanol integrated equipment manufacturing project using renewable energy. As a first step in their collaboration, the partners plan to construct a 100,000 tonnes/year e-methanol plant.

Carbon Recycling International (CRI) announces the appointment of Lotte Rosenberg as its new Chief Executive Officer, following an extensive recruitment process.

At the same time Björk Kristjánsdóttir, interim CEO since June 2022, will step into a new position of Chief Operating Officer, taking on additional responsibilities alongside her role as Chief Financial Officer.

VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS IN ICELAND NEAR CRI'S GO PLANT

A volcanic eruption started in the morning of January 14th north of the town of Grindavík in Iceland. These eruptions are in proximity to CRI’s George Olah plant, the first of its kind e-methanol facility located in Svartsengi on Iceland’s Reykjanes peninsula. The magma flow is not threatening the facilities in Svartsengi, and no one is in physical danger from the ongoing event.

P1 FUELS AND CARBON RECYCLING INTERNATIONAL (CRI) SIGN CONTRACT TO DELIVER E-FUEL PRODUCTION UNIT TO GERMANY

P1 Fuels has signed a contract with CRI, a global leader in clean methanol technology, for delivery of an e-methanol production unit. The collaboration focuses on integrating CRI's innovative Emissions-to-Liquids (ETL) technology with P1's proprietary methanol to gasoline technology to produce low cost e-fuels that can be used in cars without engine modification.

CRI was awarded the "Environmental Initiative of the Year" by the Confederation of Icelandic Enterprises.

This prestigious award was presented by the president of Iceland Mr. Guðni Th. Jóhannesson on Business Environment Day, an annual event that celebrates environmental initiatives and sustainable practices in the Icelandic business community.
